Life is like a compulsory roller coaster ride. you could close your eyes in fear, cowering throughout the ride, or face the twists and turns, the ups and downs and excult in its thrills and spills.

never had such a long run for a long time.

was training for national league yesterday, only for swoosh.
i was sick for the past few days. fever, flu and cough.

the common ones.

the last time i had fever was 3 years ago, wow, its really time.

went to the national museum one of the days, went there for their photography.

sometimes its good to go to these places, to explore and relax.

but i had to work, promised to take him out for a walk after work.

i'm at work right now, there's this couple screaming at each other .
i guess the guy wanted a break up because i overheard the girl shouting "BUT I LOVE YOU!"
it was heart-breaking to see the girl crying for the man when the man took her hand away from his back.

i'm quite sure couples do break up very often.
whether isit one sided love or a changed of heart or whatsoever.
sometimes we ask ourselves, what's love?
isit about compromising? isit about giving and not asking for any return?
how far would you go for the one you love?
love do fade away in time to come,
the result of a lack of communication and lost of contact can make love fade away.
how sad, but its true.
people come and go, but how many actually stay?

toa payoh to watch NSL match, a good fight between vipers and stingrays.
1 goal different, a good match. marlins against mannas, a good game too.
i think i'll go down for most of the game.
my passion for netball is back, finally.
lost touch with netball for 2 years, its hard to start all over but its never too late.
i'll train hard, and work towards my goal.

mommy's day

28th march, mommy's birthday!
exactly one week ago was besta's birthday.
went to check out AMK hub with mommy this noon.
bought a guess watch as her birthday present.
lunch at new york new york.
she asked if i'm gonna get her a cake, i smiled and said "ofcause!"

i'm going to pacific plaza for boxing and kick boxing tomorrow.
so gonna tone up my muscles ;)
oh yeah, i helped bobby to set up an account in friendster. haha

my DAE applictaion was unsuccessful once again.

went to republic polytechnic to appeal,

the lecturer simply refused to let us speak to the in charge.

said that he's not free and so on.

i guess i've got to find another route.

thought of going to lasalle, but i don't wanna learn about the drawing and all.

i just wanna learn more about photography.

if i were to go to lasalle, i've to know the basic about drawing before year 2.

met this guy with a canon camera at bugis mac,

sherina su shan and i were staring at his camera.

noticed that he was finding a place to settle down for a drink, so we asked him over to join us.

i was amazed when i heard him saying he's not a professional photographer.

he was actually a event manager.

he took up photography as a hobby.

he said beginners worries about equipment while expert worries about lighting.

which is pretty true.

he has been travelling around and everywhere he go, his canon will be by his side.

i've always thought that photographers don't earn that much but i was wrong.

he told me that photographers earns a lot

they can work in a studio, wedding event, scenery, media corp and so on..

i was thinking if i should go into that line.

the day before, went for training at gelatissimo with karen.

scooping all day.

don't think we have much interest plus the pay is really little.

so we decided not to work there.

had nike training in the evening.
ran for a distant, then i had stitches.
felt uncomfortable so i decided to stop running.
i was totally drained out.
thirsting for water, the sun was killing me.
i've to admit that i'm losing my stamina, got to go for more runs.
well, actions speaks louder than words though.
i know i dont have the time to do so.

will be taking up another job at gelatissimo, the one at shaw.
just wanna kill time, don't wanna waste my time anymore.

met this interesting customer at acid,
his words are very inspiring.
he told me his life story, interesting yet saddening.
he's been thru a lot in life.

i like this singer's voice and style.
she's only 21 and she's singing at acid every friday 7-9.
zsa, mixed blood, thai cum chinese.
i must say she's friendly, asked me for song dedication.
requested for hero, she sang half way and forgot the second verse.
felt bad, but luckily there was only 1 pathetic customer.
it was still early.

i've decided to request for another time slot,
mon to thurs 5-11 pm, sunday too.
as for friday, i've to work from 5-3am.
gonna work from morning till 4 for gelatissimo.
i hope i can hang on for one month.

sentosa

i dragged myself out of my bed this morning.
had to meet the balls at 1030 at harbour front.
was late for an hour, but dyan and rach was even later tham me.
went sentosa to tan and play captain's ball.
took many pictures, will upload them soon.

town for dinner at billy bombers.
manda, mitch and violet joined us for dinner too.
after the dinner, the rest decided to go home except for gough, violet, manda mitch and myself.
so we walked around town, settled down at starbucks to play cards.
unfortunately, we got chased out because we're not supposed to play cards. damn.
so we decided to go home.

out of reach

netball

selection for under17 and under19 national squad yesterday's morning.
went all the way to SMU with gina.
there were so many people, and so i thought that chances of getting in will be low.
i didn't perform well, i know that.
after secondary 4, i've stopped training for school team.
my stamina has gone down the drain.
wanted to improve on my skill and stamina, so i decided to join back nike club.
i guess it was because of that, i managed to keep up with my standard.
at first when they read out my number, i was so blur.
when anne keep asking me to go up to them then i realised i got selected.
the training squad includes 21 players.
there're 24 players whom got selected, 17 players has gone for oversea trip.
therefore there's a total of 41 players, they're gonna cut down to 21 players.
which means 20 players will be out of the squad after the training.
pretty sure that i'll be one of the 20 players,but i'll still give it a try.

in the evening, i met up with the netballers for bbq at pasir ris park.
it was a good gathering for all of us.
from laura's time to gina's time, 6 years differences!
the most unexpected thing was, imelda came!
everyone was like"wow"!
we missed her, she was my first coach in sjc.
grace came with her and they left shortly.

time keeps slipping away

first day at work

yeasterday i went to meet gina for lunch at hougang mall.
whad a place, haha
oh well, have no choice cos i've got to rush for work.
bought a nike towel from there, gina is so gonna kill me during trng.
we saw the cctv thingy so we decided to cam-whore, as usual.














there are so many things i need to learn at work,
for example, i need to memorise the order/drinks instead of taking a note pad to write down the orders, then i've to key in at the counter. very often, i'll tend to forget the order.
they do sell finger food, chicken wings, wages, fries etc.
there are alley bar, rouge, and outdoor.
people from these bar will come to acid bar to help out at times.

there're three dykes working at these bars too.
so many different kinds of alcohol, wines and champagne, cocktail for me to remember.

other than that, i like the singer's voice.
oh yes, they offer dedications to the people there too.
there was this lady leaving singapore in a few days time, her friends dedicate the song,
leaving on a jetplane to her.
the singer sang pretty well, on different days there'll be different singers.
each day they'll be 2 singers, one after another.
and i like their songs too!
mostly, love songs i would say.
last night they sang quite a number of songs,
more than words, lips of an angel etc..

a piece of bad news, you are only allowed into the bar if you're 20 and above.
reached home around 4am, and tonight is a friday night, so i'll only end work at 3am.

supposed to go IT show with gina and her friends, but i was too tired.
missed the final B'div game between sports school and north vista too.
anyhow, got to go and have my lunch/take a shower and leave for work soon.

so i went to nanyang polytechnic with karen, it was a waste of time, thanks to karen!
there were so many people, we don't wish to wait so we went republic polytechnic instead.
met up with sherina and jane.
after the visit to RP, karen and i went town to look for job.
went to a few places, got a job at acid bar.
i like the ambience, it has live band.
i'm gonna start work tomorrow! the working hours are like 5-2 on weekdays and 5-3 on weekends. just opposite somerset, please start to chill out there.

received a call from pal early in the morning, urging me to check the posting for JAE.
got disappointed upon seeing " we regret to inform you that your application is unsuccessful" damn.
headed to ngee ann polytechnic with amanda and beks, the lecturer said that my chances to appeal is very low, my heart sank.
met hui min on my way back to hougang, realised that both of us are jobless.
met up with juliet for dinner, talked about joining the police academy.
tomorrow i'l be going to nanyang polytechnic and republic polytechnic with karen to appeal, and to hunt for jobs.
taurus are stubborn, although i know that my chances of getting into a polytechnic are very slim, i'l still give it a try.
right now i'm wondering whether i should go shatac, retake my O level math or join the police academy. suggestion anybody?
